Position Overview
The Accounting Assistant’s primary role is to support the Accounting Department in the areas of both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, to ensure accurate recording of customer billing/credits/adjustments, cash receipts, and vendor invoices/payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accounting Department

Job summary:
Samuels and Son Seafood, the nation’s leading purveyor of fresh and frozen seafood has a unique and exciting opportunity for a seafood warehouse worker. This position is designed to assist in the warehouse with loading boxes into trucks, pulling fresh and frozen product, checking order sheets and placing items on pallets for distribution. Summary of essential job functions:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers within a designated area. You will ensure timely delivery of products, maintain high standards of customer service, and keep accurate records related to deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of Goods: Transport products from the warehouse or distribution center to customer locations in a timely manner.
- Route Planning: Follow predefined routes or GPS directions while ensuring the most efficient and safest path is taken.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during delivery, which includes greeting customers, handling any questions or concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Inventory Management: Verify the contents of delivery against orders and confirm that deliveries are accurate, complete, and in good condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery logs, receipts, and signatures, and submit required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, maintained, and in good working condition. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor or fleet manager promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Follow traffic laws, company safety protocols, and all applicable regulations while on the road.
- Handling Returns: If applicable, collect return items from customers and manage the return process according to company procedures.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues or delays in deliveries, such as road closures, product issues, or customer concerns, and work to resolve them quickly.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- License: Valid driver’s license (specific class may vary based on vehicle type).
- Experience: 3 years of delivery experience is preferred.
- Skills:
