2016 Annual Great Chefs Event

When life hands you lemons, make a culinary superstar event!

The 11th annual Great Chef’s Event kicked off on June 14th at the Urban Outfitters corporate offices in the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. Each year thousands of guests come out to support The Vetri Community Partnership and Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

With no shortage of exceptional food and drinks guests are able to sip, savor and socialize with prestigious chefs. Chefs Michael Solomonov, Jonathan Waxman, Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Schwartz, Robert Irvine and Matty Matheson came from across the country to show support, just to name a few. There was also plenty of libations to get the party started such as Monk’s Café, Victory Brewing Company and even a boulevardier fountain. One of a kind auction items were plentiful and helped raise a large sum of money to be donated. Not to be missed was the after party at Vetri Family’s Lo Spiedo featuring food trucks, full bar, Biz Markie DJing and a 330-pound mortadella.

It was a sea of smiles at the Navy Yard and we were thrilled to be a part of such a charitable event. Here’s to many more years of the Great Chefs Event!
