This upcoming Monday, the Samuels taste kitchen will become the grounds for our SWAP Meat for Alaska Seafood cooking competition. Three chefs will compete for the grand prize of $1500 and to be named the SWAP Meat Champion. Their challenge? To prepare a dish featuring an Alaska Seafood protein that was substituted for a non-seafood protein. Guests will get to sample food and drink inspired by Alaska Seafood, while judges deliberate and decide on the winner.
The competitors will be Chef Leo Forneas of the Twisted Tail, Chef Vince DiSalvo of DiSalvo’s, and Chef Jerome Grant of Mitsitam Native Foods Cafe at the National Museum of the American Indian. Three talented chefs with creative recipes, ready to take home the grand prize
